I am available to teach school clubs at breakfast time, lunchtime and after school. I have a maximum number of 20 children per class with the aim being for each child to develop their strength, flexibility, co-ordination, fitness and gymnastics skills whilst learning in a safe, fun
and relaxed environment.
Each class starts with a fun, dynamic warm up before going into various gymnastic specific stretches in preparation for gymnastics skills. Following this, the children will be taught a
different skill each week; either working towards their badges or their end of year mini
competition. At the end of each class, the children will work on specific strengthening exercises
to develop their core, upper and lower body strength.
At the end of each session, one child will be awarded a ‘Gymnast of the week certificate’ and
there will also be stickers for hardworking gymnasts. I have found that this promotes a sense
of pride in all children who receive the awards and also something to work towards each lesson.
